8 Days Masai Mara – Ngorongoro – Lake Manyara Kenya Tanzania Safari

Pick up from the airport/hotel proceed to the office for finalizations. Later depart for mara descending through the great rift valley. You will have a stopover at the great rift valley for some photos of the amazing views. Later you will proceed to Narok where you will have  hot lunch for  about 30 min. Later we head to Maasai mara arriving at around 3:00 pm. Check in to the lodge/ camp, refreshen up and later get ready for your evening game drive spotting of the magnificent wildlife in the park ranging from the Big Cats such as Lion, Leopard & Cheetah to Rhino, Elephant and Wildebeest. Return to your lodge/ camp by 6.30pm.

After breakfast, spend the total of the day  exploring Maasai Mara in search of the Big Five animals (Lion, bufallo, elephant, rhino and Leopard). You will have picnic lunches in the reserve near the hippo pool. There are resident Hippos and Nile crocodiles sitted at the banks of Mara river all year round. Return within the evening for dinner and overnight at the lodge/camp.

(On this day you have an option to take a balloon safari in the early morning or a maasai village visit at the evening)

Early morning  game drive in Masai Mara, followed by a relaxed breakfast back at the camp/lodge, later depart back to Nairobi by road. Arrive Nairobi by early evening. Drop off at your hotel or to the airport for your flight home.

Departing from Nairobi with am a shuttle to Arusha. Arriving in Namanga Border for immigration procedures at the border and then proceed onto Arusha to arrive in the afternoon. Check in to the hotel booked on bed and breakfast. overnight in the hotel.

After breakfast there will be a pre – briefing on the awaiting safari ahead of us. Later we depart to Lake Manyara which is well known for bird viewing and tree climbing lions. It offers a diverse wildlife viewing and beautiful sceneries. We later break for our lunch enjoying the beautiful wildlife and bird species. In the evening we drive back to our booked camp/lodge.

After breakfast descend 2000fts (670 m) into the crater floor which is the home to the largest caldera in the world. The crater is a habitat to over 20 black rhinos that are well viewed during the game viewing. It also acts as a one stop shop for birds over 500 species. Later we will proceed for our picnic lunch at the Ngoitok springs as we enjoy the beauty of Ngorongoro. In the evening we drive back to our booked camp/lodge.

After breakfast and your final game drive leave Ngorongoro for Olduvai Gorge where louis and leakey discovered the remains of homo habilis. Lunch at Gorge Museum after lunch visit various sites of the gorge later proceed to Arusha for overnight.

After breakfast depart  from Arusha hotel and proceed to Nairobi via a shuttle bus.
